From
the North
Travel down the A1(M) to junction 59.
Stay on this road for a couple of miles, following signs for Darlington.
When you reach a roundabout take the first exit.
When you come to a mini roundabout go straight on.
Stay on this road until you come to the second roundabout where
you need to take the 3rd exit.
Follow this road through Haughton Village, past the Highland Laddie
pub and straight on at the first set of traffic lights.
When
you reach the through-about controlled by traffic lights, take the
second exit sign posted Central Park.
Immediatly after leaving the through-about turn left onto Hundens
Lane.
Follow the road up the small hill and around the bend, when you
pass Hundens Park nursing home on the left you need to take the
next left onto Bourne Avenue. Follow the road ahead through the
houses and you will come to the enterance to the sports ground.
From
the East
Travel west on the A66 until you reach the roundabout at the end
of the dual carriageway.
Take the 1st exit sign posted A1(M) South.
At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit, sign posted Darlington
Central Park.
Follow this road, going straight on at the next two sets of traffic
lights, sign posted Central Park.
When you reach the through-about controlled by traffic lights, go
straight on again sign posted Central Park.
Immediately after leaving the through-about turn left onto Hundens
Lane.
Follow the road up the small hill and around the bend, when you
pass Hundens Park nursing home on the left you need to take the
next left onto Bourne Avenue. Follow the road ahead through the
houses and you will come to the entrance to the sports ground.
From
the South
Travel up the A1(M) to junction 57 marked A66(M).
At the first roundabout take the 1st exit.
At the next roundabout take the second exit.
Follow this road until you come to another roundabout near the Safeway
supermarket and take the 3rd exit onto the ring road dual carriage
way.
At the bottom of the hill take the 2nd exit on the roundabout.
Get into the right hand lane because at the next roundabout you
need the 3rd exit.
Get into the left hand lane to go straight over the next roundabout.
You will be pleased to hear that there are no more roundabouts in
your journey!!!
About 400m further on there is a crossroads controlled by traffic
lights, you need to turn left here. This is Hundens Lane.
You need to take the 3rd road on the right, which is about 200m
ahead, to get into Eastbourne. It is not particularly well marked
so look out for the new houses on the right as these are built just
outside of the sports ground.
